Cardamomo Weekly Artistic Program
Art at Cardamomo never stops. We renew our lineup weekly so you can feel the power and truth of flamenco in a show that is never repeated.
At Cardamomo, we understand flamenco as a constant pulse. As the only tablao in Madrid recommended by The New York Times, our commitment is to offer a show where impeccable technique meets the most visceral improvisation. In this first full week of January, the stage becomes a laboratory of emotions where the classic and the contemporary converge.
Dance: Strength and evolution
From January 5 to 11, the flamenco ensemble will be led by the magnetism of Sofía del Río, the sophistication of Claudia de Utrera, and the power of Josué Reyes. Three artists who embody the vision of Cardamomo: a dance that respects its roots while beating with the force of the present, making every performance an unrepeatable surge of energy.
Music and voice: The architecture of duende
The sound atmosphere will be built upon the masterful guitar of Mario Montoya, whose rhythm forms the foundation of each night. In the cante, we will enjoy the complicity and quejío of Saúl Quirós and Jacob Quirós, two voices that elevate the show into a deep and spiritual experience.
Compás and rhythmic excellence
The engine of Cardamomo is its rhythm, and this week it will alternate between the hands of percussionists Antonio Losada and Iván Losada. Their command of the cajón ensures that the pulse of the performance maintains the intensity that sets us apart and turns each show into a work of art in motion.
We invite you to be surprised by authentic, young, and vibrant flamenco. A show designed to move both the expert and those experiencing it for the first time.
We look forward to welcoming you at Cardamomo to experience a Christmas full of duende.
