November leaves us with Flamenco at Cardamomo.
The floor of this tablao has memory. And this week, it’s going to remember what it means to truly tremble.
This last week of November, at Cardamomo, we return to the essence, to the strength of the group. We have brought together a group that is pure family, artists who know each other, respect each other and seek each other on stage to create that magic that cannot be rehearsed. Throughout these days, our stage will welcome a cast of those who make history.
Get ready, because the dance will be a real whirlwind. We bring together a trio of aces that takes your breath away, a perfect combination of strength, elegance and duende: the claw of Vanesa Coloma, the art and rhythm of our artistic director Paula Rodríguez Lázaro, and the unmistakable speed of our master Jose Escarpín. Having them together is a luxury, and their chemistry will set the stage on fire.
The architect of the sound, the one who will weave the sonic canvas of these nights on the guitar, is the great Ricardo Vázquez. His playing is the perfect cushion for the singing and dancing to take flight without fear. And the one who brings the heartbeat, the motor driving the rhythm of this celebration, is a true legend on percussion: the unmistakable Lucky Losada.
And now for the voices… get ready, because this week the cante is a parade of giants. Throughout the week, the voices of great Cancu, the metal and jondura of master Diego Amador, and the deep echo of José del Calli will pass through our stage. A lineup of cante powerful enough to make your shirt burst open.
In short, a week to feel flamenco in its purest state, born from complicity and respect among artists who admire each other. This is not a show, it’s a family gathering. And you are invited.
