The week from 17th to 23rd of February, the Cardamom Flamenco Tablao in Madrid dresses to receive Cadiz dancer Raquel Villegas.
Disciple of El Mimbre, Merche Esmeralda, El Güito, La Chiqui of Jerez, or Jennifer Hanner, Raquel has been in scenarios around the world with the companies of María del Mar Moreno, Alhama, Merche Esmeralda… He is professor, director and dancer… This multifaceted artist has participated in such original shows as flamenco dancing with horses, which you can see here. This dancer of Jerez began his flamenco studies at age 10. Has performed on stages around the world, such as the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, the Festival Andaluz de Bordeaux, theatres of Toko, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagasky, Gifu He has also danced for the Kings of Spain in Seville, on the occasion of the Kings of England´s visit in 1988. In 2009 he mounted his own Flamenco show “Delearte “, combining the more traditional Flamenco with the most current style.
Marivi Granado and Sergio Aranda will be accompanying these dancers, all of them accompanied by the singing of Sonia Cortés, Roberto Lorente and Saray Munoz and the guitar of Juan Serrano and Juan Jimémez.
