Born in Seville, Juan Manuel Fernandez Montoya, made his Broadway debut at the age of five and at fifteen he appeared with his grandfather, “El Farruco”, in Carlos Saura’s film, “Flamenco”. At the age of 19 he triumphed in the United States, beginning a memorable international career.
