“El Yiyo”, a dancer born in Badalona who, with only 25 years and 17 years of career, is already a benchmark of flamenco, is already described by some as the new Joaquín Cortés.
He has something that only those born under a star possess: the special gift of captivating with his presence and his art wherever he appears. His creative references are the great Eduardo Serrano “El Gito”, Joaquín Cortés, Farruquito and Antonio Canales.
“El Chino”, younger brother of “El Yiyo”, participated with his brother “El Tete” in several important works such as “Júbileo”. Together with his two brothers, the boy is the young promise of contemporary flamenco.
Paula Rodriguez, a dancer with a great career, won the first prize in the category of “desplante” for her interpretation of the sublime “taranto” at the Festival Flamenco de las Minas 2021.
