She started dancing when she was 4 years old at the Chiclana academies. At the age of 6 he went to Jerez with María del Mar Moreno, performing in various flamenco clubs and in the “Autumn Festivities” of Jerez with the maestro “José Zarzana” at the piano. At just 13 years old, she has starred as Lola Flores in the movie “Lola, the Movie.”
She has been a solo dancer at Cía. Antonio “El Pipa”, in various shows, was also part of important companies such as: Sara Baras, Maria Pajés, Eduardo Guerrero. He has shared stages with great artists such as: Antonio Canales, Javier la Torre, Jesus Carmona, Mariana Cornejo, Carmen de la Jara, Juan Villar …
Macarena has been awarded several prizes, among them: First prize in the contest “Jóvenes flamenco de Desencaja” in the province of Cádiz, 2011. First prize “Alcobendas flamenca Nuevos Talentos 2017”. Second prize of the “Cante de las Minas 2017”.
She has recently won the television program “The Dancer” on RTVE 2021.
Macarena will be sharing the stage, with two great dancers: Miguel El Rubio (1-3) and with Yiyo (4-6).
