Gabriel Matías is a Brazilian flamenco dancer, born in Porto Alegre and trained at the María de Ávila Higher Conservatory of Dance in Madrid, where he earned his Higher Degree in Flamenco Dance Pedagogy. His dancing combines the elegance of classical lines with the power of the most current flamenco. His accolades include the award for Best Male Solo Figure at the International Pure Flamenco Dance Competition of the Festival de Jerez and the Fundación AISGE Award for an outstanding dancer.

At Cardamomo he brings to the stage the maturity and dedication that critics have praised, with a dance that is pure body awareness and emotion in movement.
