The meeting point of the best artists and connoisseurs of Flamenco, Cardamomo has become a symbol of love for this Art and a point of reference for great performers like Joaquín Cortés, Enrique Morente, Estrella Morente, Jorge Pardo, Antonio Carmona, Ramón El Portugués, Tomatito or Raimundo Amador, among others.
From the time it was created in 1994, it has attracted budding artists who viewed Cardamomo as the “rehearsal room” of their new musical creations and to which they have later returned as renowned professionals.

The universal relevance of Flamenco was recognised in 2010 by UNESCO, when it included it in its “Intangible Heritage List“. In this regard, and from the very beginning, Flamenco at Cardamomo is expressed in skin and blood, passion, breath of life, emotion; it is the raw language of the heart raising its voice and awakening the skin and the soul of the world.
Cardamomo Tablao Flamenco, recognised as Cultural Heritage of Madrid
The cultural contribution of Cardamomo Tablao Flamenco was recognised in 2014 when it was included by the City Council of Madrid in the “Cultural Heritage of the City of Madrid” in the Centre district for “its special characteristics and singularity” (BOAM, 13 November 2014).
At the tablao of Cardamomo dancing and singing are entwined with passion, springing forth from the deepest core of flamenco. Thus the emotional expression of our artists becomes an intensely personal and unforgettable experience for the spectator.
