Since its beginnings in 1994, this tablao has been a launchpad for young talents who saw Cardamomo as their artistic home—returning later as renowned professionals. Farruquito, El Yiyo, El Farru, and many more have graced this stage.
Living history of flamenco
Cardamomo is the ultimate flamenco school, where both audiences and artists immerse themselves in the magic that unfolds on stage, learning and growing with every performance.
For this reason, the cultural trajectory of the Cardamomo Tablao Flamenco was recognised in 2014 when it was catalogued by the Madrid City Council as “Cultural Heritage of the City of Madrid” for its “special characteristics and uniqueness” (BOAM, 13 November 2014).
The Cardamomo tablao hosts weekly shows with a high rotation of the best artists on the global flamenco scene, where dance and singing coexist with passion, springing from the deepest flamenco feeling.
It is an intimate space. A limited capacity, thanks to which you can appreciate the best flamenco artists just a few metres away. Cardamomo gives you the opportunity to feel part of the show and share with the best in a family atmosphere.
In addition to the shows, exhibitions, album launches, screenings, award ceremonies and, above all, lots of flamenco have taken place here. One of them is the permanent exhibition by the renowned photographer Paco Manzano, which you can see inside our hall.

The purity and authenticity of Cardamomo’s flamenco art was confirmed during the COVID pandemic.
With borders closed and tourism gone, Cardamomo was the only tablao in Madrid that remained open offering daily shows to local audiences who understand the authenticity and exclusivity of our offering, far from imitation or false stereotypes.
