FLAMENCO IN FITUR 2020
With more than 25 years in flamenco art, Cardamomo tablao flamenco is coming to FITUR 2020 (International Tourism Fair) and we will do it the way we use to… standing strong!
Cardamomo staff and artists relocated to the International Tourism Fair to give everyone a sneak peak of flamenco.
We were from Tuesday, January 21 until Sunday, January 26 on the stand 9A10A of the exhibition hall number 9.
The magic of the most authentic flamenco of Madrid in an exceptional and unique way.
A preview of what happened in Cardamomo stand on FITUR 2020
Once we arrive, we opened an instagram drawing lot through @cardamomoflamenco where you can win 2 VIP tickets (closed) to our show and live the authentic flamenco experience.
You had to take a picture in the photocall and publish it with the hashtag #cardamomofitur
On Wednesday, January 22, we had a special shawl exhibition with two amazing voices: Perrete and Laura Abadía.
On the guitar, we had the incredible David Jimenez.
As a female dancer, we introduced Paula Rodriguez, an artist with an extensive training and knowledge in this beautiful art. Also, she cares about flamenco fashion sector and she use to make her own costumes. Paula is a real artist with the flamenco shawl, a centenary flamenco element that gives an special and difficult touch to every performance.
After this performance, the attendants had the chance to take pictures with our artists in s photocall specially designed for this.
We ended up the journey on the other stands of FITUR, taking flamenco all around the world.
On Thursday, January 23 we opened with a degustation of many manchego cheeses, our star product. In addition to tasting, our audience could know the origin and interesting facts about this flamenco typical appetizers.
On Friday, January 24, our stand gave percussion and sangria. We showed an special performance of the “cajón flamenco” with Felipe Maya and a castanets dance with La Raquela.
On Saturday we shared a high quality iberian ham for all the flamenco lovers that visit us, the ham Master Oscar Gaitan, who use to be receiving our audience in Cardamomo, joined us in FITUR starting at 12am.
Later, at 17hrs, had another flamenco performance but this time with the long tailed gown dance accompanied by David Jimenez in the guitar and the singer Antonio Moreno Maya “El Cancu”.
We closed our visit to FITUR on Sunday, January 26 with a surprise flamenco performance
