Yaiza Trigo

Yaiza Trigo, a young flamenco dancer born in the caves of Alcalá de Guadaíra, carries the pure essence of flamenco in her veins. From an early age, she grew up immersed in a rich tradition, influenced by legendary figures like Los Talega and Manolito de María, who left a deep mark on her flamenco soul. This cultural heritage inspired her to find her voice through dance, choosing the path of flamenco with a passion and absolute fidelity to orthodoxy.

At just seven years old, Yaiza began her first dance steps, launching a career shaped under the guidance of great masters. Her training at the Fundación Cristina Heeren has been essential in refining her technique, consolidating a style that breathes purity and temperament. This strong, authentic temperament has led her to shine on many stages, participating in festivals such as the Valle Gitano in homage to the great Manuela Carrasco, and winning important awards, such as the first prize at the Jóvenes Flamencos Villa de Guillena.

In 2023, she was a semifinalist in the prestigious Cante de las Minas de la Unión competition, a milestone in her career. Today, Yaiza displays her art in the most important tablaos in Seville, Granada, and Barcelona, such as the renowned Tablao Cordobés, where her dance captivates with the strength and purity that only great artists can convey.
