An international dancer, she has toured the world performing in the most prestigious theaters and festivals.

Estefanía Narváez stepped on stage for the first time at the age of 6 in the company of Ramón de los Reyes in Boston, USA. She studied in Seville as a young girl with great masters such as Farruquito, Antonio Canales and Juana Amaya, and continued her training in Madrid with masters such as Jose Maya, Alfonso Losa, Belen Lopez, Pedro Cordoba and David Paniagua.

Estefanía has Latin roots; her father is Colombian and her mother is Puerto Rican. She has traveled the world dancing in prestigious theaters and festivals such as: Joyce Theatre in New York, the Khamoro Festival in Prague, International Dance Festival at Jacob’s Pillow, and Lincoln Center in New York. While living in Madrid she works in the most renowned tablaos in the country such as Tablao Flamenco 1911, Cardamomo and many more, sharing the stage and collaborating with great artists.

Live music is thriving in Madrid, from classical and opera to blues, rock and jazz, but the speciality is flamenco. It may seem odd that the music of the south is so important up here, but there are two reasons for that: first, a lot of Andalusians have made their homes here, and second, any flamenco artist worth his salt wants to play the big tablaos — dinner shows — in el capital. Cardamomo is the real deal, catering to a crowd that knows its bulerias from its soleas. There are three sessions a night, at 6pm, 8pm and 10pm, and, obviously, you’ll go to the latter.
