Claudia de Utrera is a young dancer born in Madrid. She owes her artistic name and her love and fondness for flamenco to part of her family from Utrera and Lebrija. It was at the home of her grandfather, a guitarist by profession, that she began to dance flamenco naturally. He began his career on stage at the age of 5 years old with the help of his grandfather.
At the age of 7 she entered the Flamenco Institute “La Truco” to begin her training and become a professional dancer. There she formed the group Las Turroneras together with several companions with whom she toured stages all over Spain. She currently combines her training with performances in different tablaos in Madrid.

This bailaora belongs to a new generation of flamenco artists who represent a new way of understanding flamenco; fresh and updated. In addition to having been awarded several scholarships, such as the Cardamomo Scholarships, she was sponsored by “El Farru” and was a finalist in the first edition of the Spanish television competition “The Dancer”.
