José Escarpín, the renowned dancer from Murcia and Guinness World Record Holder 2010 in footwork, is coming to our tablao to deliver a unique performance. Also awarded the prestigious “Melón de Oro” at the “Lo Ferro” festival—a one-of-a-kind honor in the world of flamenco—Escarpín is a living legend, and he’ll be here at Cardamomo!
From his childhood in Murcia, José Escarpín showed a natural talent and passion for flamenco that led him to study at the prestigious Amor de Dios school in Madrid, where he trained with great masters like Juan Ramírez and Antonio Canales. His art has graced stages in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Italy, and beyond, and he has starred in films and documentaries, including the famous Netflix documentary La Creación de Malinche.
