A new book by Jerónimo Navarrete has been released: Flamencos. Jerónimo Navarrete, is the author of an earlier book: The Flamenco Eyes, which was more informative. He now returns with this edition with photographs of his own and texts of the peridodista José María Goicoechea and critic José Manuel Gómez.
It is a 30 years of work compilation from this photographer, linked to the flamenco world since the end of the ‘ 80s. He is a theatrical producer and has accompanied great artists in their international tours. He has exhibited his work in Madrid, Sevilla, Geneva, United States, Granada, etc.
This book shows different moments in the life and work of singers, dancers, guitarists and drummers at different places, both in Spain and abroad. The result is a flamenco artists inventory, such as Camarón de la Isla, Bambino, Enrique Morente, Lola Flores, Raimundo Amador, Estrella Morente, Pitingo. Every generation is reflected in the photographs and texts.
It is edited by King Lear Editions and we are all eager in this Tablao to have it in our hands.
