Why is it used?

This performance highlights the importance of the fusion of flamenco with other music such as Latin music and jazz.

With this number we give value to the fusion that arises in Madrid neighbourhoods such as Caño Roto. Famous for being the place where the sound of groups such as Las Grecas, Los Chichos and Los Chunguitos was born, and to which this special cante is heir to.

Thematic

These versions are known as “canciones aflamencadas“. That is to say, songs that are made flamenco.

The themes of the lyrics are very varied, ranging from heartbreak to references to the gypsy celebrations.
