Bulería
It is usually the dance with which a flamenco juerga ends and is easily recognisable both for the most knowledgeable and for those who have little knowledge of flamenco. It is the moment when the artists form a semicircle and come out one by one to dance a part of the piece.
Although at the beginning the bulería flamenca was a cante for dancing, little by little this “flamenco palo” became an essential cante in the interpretations of the cantaores or the musical recordings, thanks to artists such as Camarón de la Isla or Paco de Lucía, who made the bulería a reference of flamenco.
