Seville (1979), flamenco dancer with a long and successful career, David Paniagua is recognized as a leading interpreter of the purest flamenco.
He has studied Spanish and Classical Dance, and has performed with well-known flamenco artists such as Juan Ramirez, Juana Amaya, Gerardo Nunez, The Güito, José Miguel Carmona, Pitingo, Sara Baras, Carmen Linares, Diego el Cigala, among many others.
In 1992 he starts performing as a soloist in the show “Earth” by Juan Peña El Lebrijano, which is followed by “Carmen” at the Opera de la Bastille in Paris.
In 1997 he was selected by José Antonio Ruiz to join the Andalusia Dance Company.
A year later he joined the dance company of Antonio Canales, going on tour with the shows “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”, “Torero”, “Gitano” and “Raiz”.
In 2001 premiers “5 women 5” with the company of Eva La Yerbabuena.
He has participated in numerous solo shows, including among others: “Solea, un son eterno” by Carmen Cortes, “Arabian Nights” by Los Losadas, “Minotauro ” by Antonio Canales and “Romancero Gitano” (F. García Lorca) by Paco Suarez.

In 2008 he participated in the Festival Tribute to the generation of 27.
In 2010 he presented in Madrid his latest work “Between Time” with the dancer Sonia Fernandez Olla.
In 2011 David joined the dance company Tablao Carmen Amaya, which was presented at the Barcelona Festival Carmen Amaya.
Professor at the Flamenco Arts Centre “Amor de Dios” since 2006, he teaches intensive courses worldwide.
