Iván Losada Junior

Iván Losada Junior was born in Madrid into a family of artists. At the age of 13 he began to immerse himself in flamenco percussion with his family. His first teachers were his uncles Luki and Antonio Losada, also professional percussionists.

He started professionally at the age of 14, his first tour was in Italy with his grandfather Tito Losada. From that moment on, Iván continued his career as an artist in different tablaos in Spain.

He has participated in the play “Misa Flamenca: Los gitanos cantan a Dios” directed by his grandfather Tito Losada and many other artists. This work was presented in several cities in Spain and around the world such as Monterrey, Santiago, Lima, Quito, Bogota, Tokyo, New York and Rabat among others.

This show is the only flamenco mass in the world where a symphony and a classical choir from each country that the company of the maestro Tito Losada has visited. It incorporates the most traditional flamenco styles.

At only 22 years of age, he has already worked and toured with such important artists as Antonio Canales, Farruquito, José Maya, José Mercé, Diego del Morao, among others.

Iván Losada Junior has also been part of the shows of his father, the guitarist Iván Losada, “La Tarara Sí”, “Bailaoras”. He has toured all the theatres in Madrid, and then took his music from Andalusia to Milan. She has also participated in many important festivals such as Suma Flamenca in Madrid, Festival de Jerez and Festival “On Fire” in Pamplona.

He is currently a member of the company of the Spanish National Ballet and one of the main percussionists of Cardamomo.
