Iván Losada (Madrid)

Iván Losada, son of guitarist and producer Tito Losada, belongs to a great gypsie family in Madrid, one of the most important artists’ dynasties of flamenco: Los Losada. He started playing guitar at the age of 9 and professionally he start to work at the age of 16 in the Tablao La Alcazaba. He starts to work Antonio Canales Company for seven years, working on shows such as Gitano, A cuerda y tacón, La Cenicienta, La casa de Bernarda Alba y Torero.

He participated as a guest artist in Fedra with Lola Greco, and also participated in different Companies as: Carmen Cortés, Joselillo Romero, Alma Gitana, Juan de Juan, and Sara Baras. His artistic career has taken him across the European stages, the United States, Latin America, Morocco, Israel, Australia and Singapore. In 2012 collaborated in Miami on the last record of the singers Azucar Moreno. He has worked with Enrique Morente in the TBS prizes in Barcelona, also with Merche Esmeralda, Juana Amaya, Peppermint, Guadiana, Duquende, Potito, El Cigala and Joaquín Cortés. With his brother, guitarist and percussionist Lucky Losada and his father, recorded the CD CD“Misa flamenca: los Gitanos cantan a Dios”, a work that was presented on tour in Latin America and USA. He works as a musical advisor in Compañía Flamenca de Tito Losada, and also as the official guitarist of Celia Gómez Ballet Flamenco Company. Collaborate daily with various national artists in different productions and projects. In 2014 he was on tour with his father through 20 cities in Japan; and has been invited to Bangkok (Thailand) for concerts with his band. In 2015 he will coordinate the First Latin American Festival of Lima (Peru) and will undertake tour through New York, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
