Karime Amaya, niece of the unforgettable Carmen Amaya, for many the best dancer in the history of flamenco, was born surrounded by flamenco artists. Her father, her aunts, her grandparents? Anyone who knows a little flamenco knows Karime Amaya, she is a reference of the current female dance.
Revelation award at the Festival de Jerez and protagonist of the documentary Bajarí, nominated for best documentary at the Gaudí and Goya awards, her figure is one of the most respected inside and outside the world of flamenco.
Karime is an internationally recognized artist, accustomed to participating in festivals around the world such as: the Mont-de-Marsan Flamenco Art Festival; the Albuquerque International Festival in the United States; the Jerez Flamenco Festival; the Quito Festival; the Monterrey Flamenco Art Festival, among others.
