Manuel Jiménez

Biography

Manuel Jiménez Montes was born in Cordoba in 1997. He began his dance studies with María “La Chata”, continuing his professional training at the “Luis de Río” conservatory in his hometown. He finished his academic development in flamenco dance pedagogy at the Conservatorio María de Ávila, in Madrid. Manuel is a dancer who continually learns from those with whom he has had and still has the pleasure of working. His discipline, rigour and professionalism on stage stand out.

Despite his young age, he has been a member and first dancer of the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía and has worked with artists of the stature of Farruquito and Antonio Canales. He also collaborates with the companies of Andrés Marín and Estévez&Paños.

He currently directs and dances in his own show “Tierra de Alma”.

Festivals and Awards

Manuel has performed in Spain and abroad. Europe, the United States and the United Arab Emirates are some of the places where flamenco has taken this dancer.

  • Universal Exhibition Dubai, 2020
  • Extraordinary Prize for the best soloist dancer at the Festival de Jerez, 2023.
