The month of August can be a fun time in the capital of Spain if you know how to to invest your time.
In Cardamomo we bring a sublime flamenco group. A dance ensemble, cante , guitar and percussion that is presented to the public on the stage of our tablao.
Our artists have an unquestionable worldwide recognition. For their talent, their passion and dedication.
Here are some of their names.
After a well-deserved vacation, our vocal star, Laura Abadía, is back. A torrent of unique voice and endless cadence that tinges with her Afro Gypsy special touch.
Of course, she will be accompanied by her husband, David Jiménez, a consecrated and temperamental flamenco guitarist.
We will have the visit of the master Juan Andrés Maya from 6th to 12th August.
Juan Andrés, is a native of Sacromonte and belongs to one of the most recognized Flamenco dynasties “Los Maya”. Cardamomo is his second home, every time he visits us, the stage and the audience vibrate with him, and with his particular show, where he merges revolutionary and purist elements. The rhythm of the percussion is set by his inseparable, Antonio Losada.
Within the dancers we will also have a newlywed couple, Alba Heredia and Rober “El Moreno”. Each one on their own were applauded where they danced. Now, together they unite the flamenco art of Granadaand Madrid.

Paula Rodríguez will spend the whole month of August in Cardamomo delighting us with her shawl movements and her impressive flexibility. Lisi Sfair singing “tangos” and “tientos” and the strong voices of El Cancu and Saul Quiros…
