\nJuana Amaya is one of the strongest and most charismatic flamenco dancers of today.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

She was born in Mor\u00f3n de la Frontera (Seville) in 1968. Granddaughter of Francisca Amaya Amaya and niece of Paco del Gastor’s mother.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

During his career, he participated in various shows and international tours.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1991, he joined the companies “Estrellas de la Bienal” and “La cima flamenca de Madrid”.<\/em><\/span>
\nIn 1993, he collaborated in a show with Joaqu\u00edn Cort\u00e9s and Antonio Canales<\/strong>. Her company performed in places such as the Roman Theatre of Caracalla, the Trianon Theatre in Paris and the Mont de Marsan Festival in France.<\/em><\/span>
\nIn 1996, she was called by Salvador T\u00e1vora<\/strong> to play the role of “Carmen”.<\/em><\/span>
\nIn 1997, she stood out in “Un gitano de ley”<\/em> by Jos\u00e9 Heredia Maya.<\/strong><\/span>
\nIn 1998, she participated in the Ciclo Arte Flamenco in London and in the Bath Festival in the United Kingdom.<\/em><\/span>
\nIn 1999, she became an artist She was invited to the Japanese tour of “Pasi\u00f3n gitana” by Joaqu\u00edn Cort\u00e9s<\/strong> and performed as prima dancer alongside Pl\u00e1cido Domingo in the opera “El Cid”<\/strong>. She was also invited by Antonio Canales<\/strong> to participate in his show “Fuerza Latina”.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Born in Mor\u00f3n de la Frontera, Seville, inspired by the flamenco that his family gave him. He is the nephew of the master guitarist Diego del Gastor<\/strong>, the dancers Pepe R\u00edos<\/strong>, Andorran<\/strong>, his aunt Ni\u00f1a Amparo<\/strong>, who was an artist in Guajiro with Farruco, Rafael el Negro<\/strong> and Matilde Coral<\/strong> in the 50s. <\/span><\/p>\n

After establishing his career, he decided to form his own company, with which he presented his show “As\u00ed Baila Mor\u00f3n”. <\/em> This show was presented at the Seville Biennial in 2004, both on two regular occasions and in the special cycle “Bienal Solidaria”, where he performed for the prisoners of Seville. <\/span><\/p>\n

He also participated in other shows at the Biennial, such as “Bailaor” by Antonio Canales<\/strong>. In the last edition of the Biennial, his performance at the Patio Hotel Triana with the group Son de la Frontera<\/strong> stands out, receiving great critical acclaim. He also collaborated in the show directed by Ricardo Pach\u00f3n called “Perrater\u00edas”, together with Tom\u00e1s de Perrate, at the Teatro Central.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Bailaor of Son de la Frontera, a group that is reaping great success and receiving excellent reviews<\/strong> (Critics Award, Madrid, Award for Best Live Show of the Year) and recognition, as well as being nominated for several awards such as the Latin Grammys 2007 and awarded by the BBC in London, which calls them the best European group.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nazaret Reyes, a Sevillian dancer, a young revelation and wonder in the world of flamenco.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Her parents, Juana Amaya and Crist\u00f3bal Reyes, two greats of flamenco, are Nazaret’s roots as a dancer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Born in a flamenco environment, Nazaret followed in her mother’s footsteps to become a professional dancer.<\/span><\/p>\n

She began at the end of the parties in the shows that her mother danced at the age of five. At the age of ten, she took part in the Flamenco Biennial in Seville with the show \u201cCarmen Amaya,\u201d \u201cEvocaciones,\u201d performing Carmen alongside her mother, Juana Amaya, Rafael Amargo, and other great artists. After a long career and tours around the world, she is currently a teacher at the dance academy of Juana Amaya and Crist\u00f3bal Reyes in Seville.<\/p>\n
